  Probably my second review of this fabulous place but they are deserving of all the publicity! Went there last night for Valentines Day and it didn't disappoint! Loved the Nautical Mule and my hubby had a Wicked Weed Special and they were amazing! The oyster happy hour was featuring a VA oyster and they were delicious. We also had the trout pate' which is really just a divine creation of Trout dip which was served with a pickle and ground mustard, neither of which were necessary because the treat was definitely the trout! Staff as usual were off the chain wonderful, full of smiles and ready to please. You must visit this wonderful place

  Great food. Everything was prepared perfectly. Nice buzz in the restaurant. The whole staff seems very happy to be at work. I can't wait for the patio.

  I really enjoyed my first-ever experience at The Waterman. Our server was very funny and welcoming, and the food was phenomenal (I had one of the platters). It feels like such a close and quaint experience in, like, a hometown seafood spot. It’s not as fancy and upscale as, say, Sea Level, but it feels more comfortable. I like it. And the parking is free. Next time, when it’s warmer, I’d like to get up to the rooftop area and enjoy that view.

  Went on a busy Saturday night and was immediately impressed with the ambiance and the smell of the food!! Probably the best part aside from the best oysters i ever had was the service. These folks leave you wanting for nothing. They are never too busy to answer a question or shuck a stubborn oyster. We will definitely be back to try the lobster roll and the rooftop bar.....what could be better.

  Great addition to the South End scene. The recipes are amazing, and they just started $1 Oyster happy hour specials. Yum! Trout pate appetizer was some of the best I’ve had. Shrimp tacos served on scallion pancakes are another winner. And the local oysters are big and fresh and liquory.
  
  Prices are not low, but not terrible.
  
  My only complaint was looking through the (purposefully) deconstructed walls at the storage area and bathrooms. Why are there bare 2 by 4’s in this otherwise great place? Dunno. I just kept my eyes on the gorgeous oysters and my cute date. :-)
